I know a lot of people have been raving about this mousse for eons now, but having never really gotten on with primers in the past I dismissively thought this would be the same experience for me as the others were. However, check my video below to see my verdict after having tried it..
As, ahem, the video was a little bit all over the place (and man, don’t I talk fast when I’m talking to myself?), I’ve listed the pros and cons of this primer. Just as a quick summary of what the video has mentioned..
Pros:
Genuinely holds make-up all day.
Makes make-up look more even, polished and ‘finished’.
Comfortable, doesn’t dry out throughout the day.
Slightly mattifies.
Evens out complexion enough to be worn alone.
SPF 30!
Cons:
Very easy to squeeze too much product out!
Can make dry skin too matte and takes dewy-ness out of dewy make-up.
The packaging being a can; it potentially may not hold much product/potentially bad value for money.
Actually I may strike the last ‘con’ off as I can’t verify if it is true or not, just an inkling..
Picture of it all moussey..
So the pros far outweigh the cons! The only primer I’ve tried as yet that I actually feel improves the look of my make-up, holds it in place comfortably all day (without drying out), doesn’t break me out and has a decent amount of SPF! It is pricey (around £30), but based on performance I think it’s worth the money and I’ll definitely be repurchasing when it runs out!
