I have been dying to try Benefit Cha Cha Tint since its release so was delighted when I was given one in a goody bag at a recent event. Already a huge fan of Posietint, and to a slightly lesser degree the original Benetint, I had high expectations for the coral/orange tint that has been touted as a great compliment for my warm skin tone.
As with the other two tints, it comes in a nail varnish style bottle, and is applied straight from the brush (a couple of blobs onto cheeks/lips, then blend!).
Over my regular foundation (MAC Face & Body) it blended perfectly, and even when applied over powder products there was no streaking. One of the great things with all Benefit’s tints are that you don’t have to be super quick to blend once you’ve applied it; you can even leave it a few seconds and it still never over saturates in any places.
What do you think? The more powder products you wear underneath, the less dewy it is but generally it does give a gorgeous shiny tint to the skin. You can also build it up if you so wish, to deepen the colour.
Like the other two tints, the lasting power is amazing. Ever so slightly less on the lips, but still really decent! I wouldn’t feel this is a product I would need to carry out with me for touch ups on the cheeks, but maybe for the lips..
Love this Benefit Cha Cha Tint, think it’s a fab coral that is actually more wearable for all skin tones then some would imagine. I actually find it surprisingly less orange than I thought it would be. I think I still prefer Posietint colour wise, as it really is a gorgeous pink that I just love, but this is a great alternative if you want your make-up to look less dolly and more natural.
Benefit Cha Cha Tint is available from Benefitcosmetics.co.uk, priced £24.50.

I found the Benefit Cha Cha tint really hard to work with… And it stained really quickly on me! Maybe it depends on your skin type?
Ohhh.. Or maybe foundation? MAC F&B is quite a creamy almost gel type foundation, and that probably works really well with the product. I’ll try it again over bare skin and see how I get on. x
