Ah, the boots fiasco.. How I lovingly look back at this memory now..
Those who follow me on twitter probably know all about the lengths I travelled to to get my greedy obsessive clutches on a pair of these boots in a size 3. It took me all the way to Reading and back, and I have to say Miss Selfridge customer services did not help me at all! After telling me initially, three weeks ago when I first spotted these shoes and decided I had to have them (they were sold out in my size), that they would order more in and to keep checking the website, I then saw, after checking the website every day for three weeks, that they had not ordered any more sizes in and in fact they had reduced the boots to half price in the sale! I was livid.
So I called the customer services up again (partly to shout at them, I admit), they pretty much sent me on a wild goose chase which involved calling stores all over England asking them to do a store transfer to a more local one (which Miss Selfridge no longer even do) and in the end, after spending SO MUCH TIME doing my damndest in getting a pair I decided enough was enough and travelled all the way to Reading, on a Saturday morning, to pick one of the last remaining pairs in the country up. Whew. And relax. Yes, it was a very stressful period for me, but it only goes to prove one of my favourite sayings ever which is, ‘where there’s a will, there’s a way!’.
Some shots of them on..

Yes, I suppose I should do a full length one of me standing in them but I haven’t yet (I will edit this in), so please bear with me till then.
Do you think they were worth the hassle? I’m not so sure, for starters they’re too big (I expected this though, my size is 2½ and doesn’t really exist anywhere) and quite tricky to walk in but had I never have gotten them I would have thought about them regrettably till the day I died! I know what I’m like, see.

OMG I love these!! I know how it feels when you’re madly trying to find something, especially when size 3 is so difficult to locate xx
Hi Lina,
Do you have an updated picture of you standing in these over the knee boots yet hun? You certainly showed passion for heading all the way to reading, just for some boots, but I hope it all paid off.
Maybe after some use they will fit naturally and from the pictures, they do look really nice with what you are wearing. Good choice on the material as in London, I often see many wearing Suede lately.
