Lazeeee post today, I painted my nails yesterday on the train in this eye catching Pixi* shade from their collab range with Disney (which I covered briefly here, full post coming soon!) – I think I like it! It’s very bright, not for the faint hearted! But it’s really lovely for Summer and looks great with tanned skin. It’s the sort of shade you keep looking at, trying to figure out your opinion on it, it takes me a second but then I think, ‘Yeah, it’s cool I like it’.
It does need a top coat, it has a weird rubbery finish without, but that’s only noticeable close up (you can probably see this in the picture). I’ve applied three coats here as two wasn’t enough for an even colour, however I often apply three coats with nail varnish just for added depth of colour.
Yesterday was a fun day, I had a Prosecco Picnic with a.. friend (a handsome one!) and wore one of my favourite summer dresses – a tiger print knee length that’s bright orange. I’ll probably wear it again next week so will do an outfit post showing it. Now the weather’s getting warmer it’s exciting to wear pretty dresses and sandals. Plus, sandals are usually way comfier than regular shoes/boots – or am I the only one that thinks this? Probably because you can get away with ill-fitting sandals which is a big plus (necessity) in my eyes..
