For the last of Accessories Week I have these gorgeous, real leather pieces from the Luxe range at Clippy London*. One of them is a regular coin purse in vintage pink, whilst the other a money bag in glitzy gold – however I don’t use it as that, I use it from anything to a tablet cover to clutch! I did consider using it as make-up bag but as it’s real leather and really very beautiful, I didn’t want to risk ruining it with make-up smudges!
They both have clear transparent pockets at the front which you’re meant to fill with your own pictures or designs to make it more personal, however being lazy and always on the quest for more storage for whatever I use I just use them as extra pockets to keep stuff in. The one on the purse is really handy for keeping vouchers and cards and receipts that clutter the inside main pocket (check out my zumba and eyebrow threading place loyalty card! Ha).
I adore the soft leather texture, and the strap that allows you to wear it around your wrist makes it really handy for nights out and great as an occasional purse (as most people need more pockets, etc, for cards and stuff for everyday). However having said that I’ve been using it for months as my main purse and it’s been working out fine! I guess it’s like the big bag thing, if you have a big bag, you just end up filling it with rubbish and if you have a small one you somehow manage to make do just fine!
So that draws a close to my Accessories Week. I’ve really enjoyed it! I might do more week things more often, maybe a lipstick week or skin care week? What do you think?
