Hello! I’ve been really, really neglecting this blog recently, so sorry, it’s just been tricky as I’ve been so busy with cool non-beauty related stuff that I’ve half not had the time and half felt a little demotivated, plus it’s been Ramadan (religious Islamic month where you fast all day) and the 18 hour fasts are KILLLLIIIIIING MEEEEEE. So hard to be creative and focused when you’re starving.. However THIS Tria Hair Removal Laser* landed on my doorstep today and I’m finally really excited about blogging again! Hooray!
About TRIA..
“The Tria Hair Removal Laser is the first and only cordless laser for hair removal available for at-home use. The Tria Laser uses the same laser technology that professionals use in-clinic for permanent results, at a fraction of the cost. See initial results within just 2 treatments; imagine permanent freedom from endless shaving and waxing in as little as 6 months.”
You might remember that I mentioned TRIA a few months back, discussing how I was really keen to try it having tried IPL and professional salon laser treatments prior. Having the curse of Asian black hair and relatively pale skin, hair removal is a top priority and permanent hair removal is the dream! Laser treatment in the salon is great and all, but I messed up and stopped going after a few treatments as it just became an inconvenience having to pop into the salon in town and having to wait for the awkward hair length to be right before going (not fully stubbly, not silky smooth). The perks of using a device like TRIA is that you can use it in the privacy of your own home, by yourself on your schedule, on freshly shaved skin. So no having to not shave for a few days.
As it’s just arrived, here’s the unboxing..

It’s currently charging, which needs to be for a minimum of two hours before use, and then I can start zapping away! I’ve read the manual and for best results treatments should be done every two weeks for up to six months, than monthly after then for a few more months to reap full permanent results!
I’ll keep you updated with how it’s going on a monthly basis, so watch this space! It’s worth mentioning the laser head does appear to be quite small, so I can imagine the legs taking a fair bit of time to do, however for smaller areas I think this will be ace!
