Despite the fact that I was adamant I wasn’t doing Fashion Week this season (I still haven’t recovered from the last!), as the days drew nearer and all the emails started flooding in I couldn’t resist booking myself in for some stuff. Well, really, one thing. Corrie Nielsen. Last season, because I had completely over committed and was exhausted I couldn’t make the show, despite having an invite. However I watched it via the live stream and instantly knew that I was missing something BIG. It transpired that it was one of the biggest highlights of the entire week. So this season, that was my only show request.
It was great. Lots of really beautiful, elegant but striking headwear in hues of pastel, but there were still lots of far edgier stuff in true Nielsen fashion.
I then got my now obligatory trim at the Toni & Guy Pop-up Blow Out Bar.
They have their best stylists from all over the UK travelling in to offer quick, on the go re-styles, refreshers and trims. As I did last season, I LOVE MINE. Serious. I’m so thrilled with the cut, exactly what I wanted.
As I type this, I’m in the Glam Media suite with my fellow Glam publishers drinking champers and (attempting) to file our reports. Ahh, Fashion week is stressful but I do love it. Definitely the way forward doing it this way than the way I did last season, nice and chilled..
P.S. I wore my new JC shoes!! Surprisingly comfy (and worked well with my colour blocking attire – you like?).

I love your dress, you look fabulous
as a fellow shortie please tell me where is it from?
Thank you! It’s from Miss Selfridge, I bought it a few months ago but interestingly enough it’s not from the Petite range! Regular size! But fits fine. I think they do it in other colours too x
