Today, these gorgeous Real Techniques brushes arrived which I had ordered early in the new year. Having seen every single blogger and YouTuber on the planet rave about them, and then actually seeing them used in the flesh by Tanya Burr during filming when I assisted her, I decided it was time to get involved..
I bought the Real Techniques Core Collection, Powder Brush, Blush Brush, Stippling Brush, Expert Face Brush, Setting Brush and Shading Brush (for eye).
Yeah, I kinda went a little mad, considering I have yet to actually try one! It was because I could pick them up for pretty cheap via a US based site called i-Herb; I bagged all of these for a very reasonable $70 (including shipping which was only $4), converting to about £40 UK. Bargain, no?
It did take a few weeks to arrive, but I think it was worth the wait considering the saving. They actually gave me this cool friends and family discount code so you yourself can get $10 off of your first order with them, providing you spend over $40. So if you fancy making a saving on these brushes yourself, the code is AZI351!
On Saturday, this beeeeaaaautiful Mason Pearson Pocket Bristle Brush in pink arrived – another online purchase! I had been contemplating investing in a Mason Pearson for many years now, but couldn’t rationalise the cost.. Until last week when I decided to just go for it! So glad I did. Switching to a good quality, natural bristle brush like Mason Pearson is invaluable to keeping hair healthy, and this handy pocket size is perfect for chucking in my handbag for use on the go! I’m still in the testing phase of it but it can get quite addictive brushing your hair with it!
Full reviews coming, but please, let me know if you have tried either of these brushes and which is your favourite to use for what; I feel like I bought a million foundation brushes from the Real Technique batch and am kind of paralysed with simply TOO MUCH CHOICE over which to use first! Ha.
