MAKING THE BEST OUTTA WINTER

Ah, winter. I genuinely feel I suffer from SAD because of the ridiculously short daylight hours we get here in the UK during this season. But not only is it effecting my mental state, it also play havoc on my skin.. However it does mean I have an even more of a legitimate excuse to go and get pampered in a warm and cosy beauty salon, as apparently the recovery effect strikes even stronger during this time!

Thankfully to Groupon and other such daily deal sites, you can swan off to a nice salon fairly cheaply by taking advantage of one of their daily deals or simply checking the site, I’ve done this COUNTLESS times. Actually, every single spa visit I’ve ever had which I’ve paid for myself has been via deals like this! Even my sister’s hen do, which was just a relaxing spa weekend in London, was done this way. She spotted a deal and everyone booked!

But not only have I grabbed luxurious spa deals, I’ve also bagged some great laser hair removal deals in London for uber cheap. If you start now, like I’ve been doing with my TRIA at home, you’ll be bikini ready (at least in terms of hair!) well in time for summer!

But the cheapest beauty treat of the lot is drinking lots of water. It honestly is the best thing for skin (or better, EAT your water with lots of fruit!), and great for your immune system. During these months I keep myself hydrated with plenty of water, take my vitamins (currently a selection of Imedeem which I am loving!), exfoliate my skin regularly and then, slather on the moisturiser! That staves of any dull, dry skin and keeps my health in tip top shape!

What are your plus points to winter?
