LONDON FASHION WEEK AW13: DAY 1

 Yesterday was probably my best day ever of all the Fashion Weeks as finally, after three years of attending, I had really become accustomed to how things worked and wasn’t so overwhelmed; although the panic of what to wear the period prior will undoubtedly always consume me!

I was planning on wearing some items from Chic Freak in Portebello Road, however unfortunately a couple of things I had looked at earlier to be called in had been sold or sent back to the supplier last minute, so in the end I just wore this silk blouse of mine with my Topshop Skater Skirt that I’ve been practically living in since I bought it last week! I wouldn’t really consider this outfit particularly fashion, however I did get almost ’papped’! I say almost, as I turned and quickly ran away in embarrassment the moment they tried to do it! NOOB.

I was doing lots of street style interviews with a camera crew from Purple Panda Pro, but managed to also check out the ZOE JORDAN show and JENA THEO presentation, AND get my MAC make-over and also a quick trim at the Toni & Guy Pop-up Blow Out Bar!

When the MAC Make-up Artist was doing my make-up she actually said I was the first person to come in who she was at a loss at what to do with, as apparently my make-up and skin was so nice to begin with! Haha, I’m sure she says that to everyone. But apparently she liked the fact that I had no eye make-up on as it was a big trend in make-up and balances strong lips well.. In the end she just switched over my red lippie for a nice, matte pink, and touched up the concealer under my eyes. It was simple, but I looked infinitely better after!

Needless to say, I obviously LOVED the goody bag filled with MAC delights given after the make-over!

It was a great day, I had so much fun despite recovering from an awful flu - paracetamol and three bottles of Vitamin Water (LFW sponsors) had gotten me through the day. I’ve skipped Day 2 (today) to simply catch my breath, but will be back there for the rest of the week!
