I just thought I’d rustle up this quick post as I got some exciting news yesterday that I wanted to share. I am going to the IMATS this year, courtesy of the very lovely and generous Handpicked Media. Woo hoooo! I’ve never been before so not sure what angle I’m gonna take to cover it, if I even cover it in detail at all for this blog. There are so many fantastic bloggers already going who will no doubt cover it much better than I would so I wouldn’t wanna bore you with my feeble attempt! But I will definitely be tweeting like crazy, and will of course show you the goodies I hope to purchase!
And to finish off that bit of news here is my lovely new backpack that I bought from Urban Outfitters. I was getting so bored of my not-Mulberry satchel, while admittedly it looks delightful the annoying twisty clasp thing that has be perfectly aligned to do up was really starting to bug me, and of course the actual rectangular, flat shape of it was quite impractical for all my non-office/document bits (the majority if not all of my stuff then). So I picked a backpack this time..
Here the lovely Mary Kate is also sporting one not that dissimilar! But which I can guarantee costs about a gazillions times more…
It’s made from leather and suede and although there was a choice of having it in black (which I was OH SO tempted with), I went with the brown as I love the vintagey worn-in look to it. It is so soft and really comfy to use, I used it for the first time today and no annoying slipping off my shoulder like my satchel kept doing, such a relief!
What I love especially is the three leather pockets at the front, and I did pick this hoping one would be the perfect size for… my Filofax! Haha, bet you was wondering how long it’d be before I threw that one in. Well, it IS Filofax week on here! The middle pocket is perfect for my new pocket sized Filofax, fits so beautifully! And the other two pockets are perfect for phones and whatever other necessities one needs at hand.
So all in all a pretty much perfect purchase (I’ve concluded this already from my one day wear, hehe).
