Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Foundation – GUEST REVIEW!!

First off, Thank you so much to Lina for letting me be her guest reviewer on this foundation. I was so excited to have the chance to review it.

This colour (Ivory) is pretty much a great match for my skin tone. The foundation comes packaged in a cute summery looking box. The bottle contains 30mls of product.

I have really enjoyed trying this out, I loved it as soon as I applied it! It has quite a thin consistency, which is not something I am used to, being a fan of Revlon Colorstay. But It applied really well and blended so easily too, and it felt lovely and light on my skin.

[Eek, No Make-ups. UGH Sorry!]

I would say it gives a medium coverage, but it is definetely buildable if you want more coverage. In my pictures I just have one layer of it on my face, and I think it has evened out my skin and got rid of any discolouration, I did use concealer to cover blemishes though (I have had more spots than normal recenlty!), I think it gives a nice even look and made my skin look quite glowy and fresh, and it minimized the look of my pores, which is always a good thing!

The finish was quite dewy and it felt slightly tacky on my skin after I had applied it, but that wasn’t a problem because I always powder over my foundation because of how oily my face gets, the powder didn’t completely mattify it though, my skin still looked as though it had a healthy glow, which I like. If you like a dewy finish though and your skin isn’t overly oily, then I am sure you would love the finish of this.

It lasted really well, I applied it around 10am and at 5pm everything was still intact, my skin was starting to get a little oily again though, but I am used to that, and it had been a hot day.

This foundation is supposed to help with breakouts and stop them from coming back over time, I can’t really comment on that as yet, but I will update Lina in a couple of months and let her know how I feel about that.

I hope you all enjoyed my review! Thanks again Lina, for the opportunity :)

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Foundation – Reviewer Chosen!

SNB13412x

Hey ladies, I know I promised weeks back I would pick a reviewer to review this foundation in this post. Well, as it happens despite my slackness (I like to call it cautiousness, oh screw it, slackness) the decision was taken out of my hands – I was sent one before I could pick the shade! So instead of picking who was more worthy to review this foundation (you were ALL worthy, I would never have been able to choose), all I had to do was just look over your profiles and see who matched the skin tone of this foundation shade best.

And thus from that highly scientific procedure the reviewer will be…. Sophie!

Thanks to all those who responded with offering your time to review this product, I wish I could have gotten all of you to review it! Actually, dang, that would have been amazing.

Sophie, I’ll be emailing you soon to get your address to send the foundation over to you! Looking forward to reading your review! Again, thanks everyone else for taking part.

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Foundation – Wanna Review it????

I’m lucky, whilst my skin is veeeery sensitive and prone to dryness I have never really suffered from acne, spots or blemishes of that nature. However, when I do get the occasional one every 6 months or so it is unbelievable how much it knocks my confidence, it can be very troubling, so my heart really goes out for those who suffer from this on a far more common basis.
Hopefully, this particular skin stress could be a thing of the past thanks to Clinique bringing out a moderate coverage foundation called ‘Anti-Blemish Solutions’. The liquid foundation is designed to gently keep blemish-prone skin comfortable and balanced by minimising excess sebum without drying out your skin. And once your skin is up to scratch, this product then works in safeguarding it against future breakouts, so you’ll only ever need one foundation to keep your skin in tip top condition all year round! View the video above to check it in action.
Now here’s the exciting bit, I’ve been offered the chance to review this product but having completely the opposite end of the scale skin type I would be the worse candidate ever to review it. Instead, I am going to offer one lucky reader the chance to review it on my behalf! Read on for the details.

There are rules, I will only offer the foundation to someone who a) has skin that this foundation has been designed for, and b) can string a sentence together without too much trouble! Although I should add that I will be expecting much more than a sentence; a few paragraphs detailing how the product wears, feels and general effectiveness (with good pics!). For ideas on how to do this (if you are unsure) please check my previous foundation reviews!
I am in the midst of sorting this and I haven’t completely got the ‘okay’ yet to pass the product on, but in the mean time if you are interested please leave a comment letting me know your skin type, troubles you’ve had with it, your current favourite foundation and a link to your blog if you are a blogger and your email. I will decide the reviewer from whoever applied at the end of the weekend!
For further info about foundation and of course to purchase one yourself, check here.
Good luck!
