Don’t call me a skank but I bought hot pants on eBay…

So, uh, yeah. Pretty much what the title suggests. I genuinely tried to find a new pair but after searching eight different H&M’s to no avail, I spotted this pair in my size going on eBay for a whole £2 more than their recommeded retail price. Yes, they have been worn, which isn’t ideal (apparently just the once though), but I’ve washed and disinfected them so hopefully all chances of catching crabs or whatever sickness you can catch from sharing shorts will be diminished (seriously almost made myself throw up just writing/thinking that. Yuck). However I am so happy to have them in possession, I seriously wanted a pair and when I want something I literally go mad with desperation for it. I think I’m an awkward in-between size (6-8, got an eight) so these gape around the waist quite a bit but fit the hips fine, I guess nothing a belt can’t fix though. Goes without saying that they will always, always, always be worn over tights! Teamed it here with my stars and stripes cropped vest from Topshop and River Island red wedge trainers (yes, them again. When will I shut up about them, huh?).

P.S. Isn’t that random flower by the shovel really cute? Have no idea why it has been plucked out but it is oh so adorable.. :)

Check out this ‘hot’ little number..

What do we think of my leather skirt? I picked this up during the Elle and H&M Networking Event last week where we were offered 20% off on anything from H&M for the entire eve. I wanted to buy so much stuff but I’m currently on a spending ban as am off to New York in a couple of weeks so need to save my pennies for all the spending then!

However this skirt was as cheap as chips, and even cheaper with the added 20% deductions! So I couldn’t resist. I bought it in a size 8, as there were no 6′s available, and it fits fine.. I suppose.. A bit loose around the waist but I have a feeling the 6 probably wouldn’t go past my hips so I guess the 8 was prolly the best size for me!Really like it, it is a touch on the rocker/fetish side and let’s face it, it’s hardly class personified, however I am modelling it here with just a corset bralet so you could easily team it with a shirt and it’ll definitely look a lot more sophis.

One small problem though, being ‘pleather’, and high waisted, it makes my stomach sweat like crazy! Seriously, this skirt is not to be rushed around in! The only thing I can think of for a more comfortable wear is to pull my tights up waaaay past my stomach, as a protective barrier between my bare skin and the unbreathable fabric, but to be honest I don’t think that’s really working out.. There has to be another solution other than that? Any suggestions? Wrap my stomach in absorbent bandages??

I also tried on this lace(y) dress below, which I really liked, but felt because of the length it made my legs look too dumpy. WHY doesn’t H&M do a petite range?!!Adore the slouchy fit and cap sleeve, and in retrospect think it would actually look quite cool with some massive statement block heels, like my JC Lita’s for instance, just something to add a little extra length to my legs.. So maybe I’ll go back and check it out again..

What do we think guys?
