Oh yes, I got braces!!!
I’ve hated my teeth for as long as I can remember and it’s always been listed as number one in the Cosmetic Procedures I’d Get Done if I Won The Lottery list (doesn’t everyone have that list??). Well, I didn’t win the lottery, but I did decide I couldn’t go on any longer hating something that I could easily change and here I am now, with Inman Aligners ( – the name of the brace)!
The Inman Aligner brace is similar to Invisalign and Clearstep in the sense that it’s relatively invisible (although not as invisible as them), removable, and works very quickly. It only treats the front six teeth, so if that’s not your problem area then it won’t be right for you, but for me that was exactly my main area of concern so is perfect.

I got them fitted on Friday and I’ve now been wearing them two whole days. It’s take a little getting used to having such a strange, bulky object in my mouth and I definitely haven’t grasped how to speak without sounding a little less mentally able, but apparently this should go after a week or two. The expected aching was there (I’ve been taking Ibuprofen to treat this) and I can feel the wires digging into the side of my mouth which is a little uncomfortable, but I think these are just teething problems (excuse the pun!) and should sort themselves out in time.
Check out this video review I made to hear me talk with them in!
I’m expected to wear them for three months only, and by then my teeth should be aligned and the treatment will be completed! Quick, huh? I will have go in for monthly check ups and adjustments but at the moments there’s not really much to report as I’ve only had them a few days, but I will keep you updated and if you have any questions, drop me a comment!
