Some of my make-up work..

A few of you may already know that I am actually a professionally trained make-up artist. I was trained 9 years ago (gosh!) at Greasepaint School of Make-up and spent the next 4 years working consistently as a make-up artist. I’ve since semi ‘retired’ from the trade and only do the occasional shoot now if it’s for a good contact that I enjoy working with (or a job I simply can’t turn down!); I much prefer writing about it now than spending a 3 day 15 hour day shoot for a digestive biscuit advert making a middle-aged woman ‘natural and mum-sy’. Not to sound melodramatic but I genuinely felt like I was losing my soul on occasions when I was working.

Anyway, I’ve been meaning to post a few examples of my work on here for ages just so you can all have a look for yourself and whatev, however what I have on this laptop is very limited as most of my work is on the oooold slow computer, if even scanned in at all(!) so this is really just a limited selection that I could find on here. :)

Make-up shoot for Claudine London

Just got hold of some pics of a make-up shoot I did for Claudine London for her Autumn/Winter 2009 collection. Claudine makes fabulous bags and it was a pleasure to work with such lovely pieces!
