JC Clogs, Winter Boots from Pretty Small Shoes and More Footwear…

I’ve bought lots of exciting blog worthy (well, in my opinion) footwear in the last month or so and intended to share them with you right then and there but unfortunately haven’t found the chance. So now I’m gonna bung ‘em all atcha in one mahoosive post! I did want to spread them out in more digestible chunks but realised I’d never catch up with the rate I tend to buy over the rate I post, so prepare yourself for one picture heavy footwear overload right now!

First up (not the JC’s, they’re coming!) are my newest purchase. I recently discovered this site called Pretty Small Shoes. They specialise in beautiful footwear, but in smaller sizes (UK 1-3). All of their shoes are hand made and take just under a month to receive from the moment you place the order. These boots are apparently ‘Walking Boots’ called Hi-Ka (that’s the name of this particular style) and I bought them mostly for the upcoming Winter, but also to give an edge to girly floral summer dresses I tend to dress myself in. They have sheep skin lining and are really very beautiful. They were pretty expensive at £140 (almost £150 inc p&p!) but because they’re hand made and specially designed for teeny tiny feet I think it’s an investment. However, I’ve only done one practice run with them to the shops and my feet were ACHING, so not sure how ‘walking’ friendly they’ll turn out to be! I’ll break ‘em in though. Mark my words.

My regular readers will know all too well about how I lusted after these Chanel copy clogs for months. I bought pair after pair of high street clogs (see here) that were okay but really, nothing compared to the highly sought after JC Clog. Until finally, my prayers were answered and I found a pair in Office!!! It took me MONTHS of searching online, constantly, for hours on ends (I swear I spent entire weekends searching endlessly), but it all clearly paid off. So happy I finally own a pair. Kinda regret buying my other 2 pairs of clogs as they are literally untouched now, but what’s done is done. These cost £85. In the pics they have a scary insole stuck inside as I like to pad my shoes out to make them fit better – it didn’t come like that, don’t worry.

I love them

(but they do rub the toes a bit).

Another shoe shop I’ve really taken to is Spartoo. They sell soooo many shoes it can actually be tiring searching through it all but the few times I stuck with it I’ve come out with some great finds! I bought these Moccasins (below) on sale for £30 from there in a size UK 2.5 (very unusual to find a half size!), and they fit great (maybe a little too great for boots). I love the whole bohemian Red Indian look of them with the tassels, red beads and brown suede. A superb, thrifty find.

No modelling pics of me in them, sorreee.

And last but not least. My stars and stripes Reebok freestyles. I wish I photographed these babies when they were box fresh as they really were BEAUTIFUL brand new. I’ve worn them to a few festivals since and they’ve definitely got that lived in look now (to say the least, hehe), but they were amazing looking brand new. I cannot stress that enough. These hi-tops cost me around £90 and were purchased from Spartoo. I love the Wonder Woman style and general Americana vibe. Get muchos comments every time I wear them.

Me rockin’ them at a friends’ American themed barbeque. I was dressed as a Cheer Leader, obv. I don’t usually dress like that… !

So, these are my favourite shoe purchases of the last few months! What do you think? Looking back at this post I’ve realised I’ve made a few damn impressive purchases of late.. I think I feel a ‘making outfits’ session coming on freshly inspired by this!
