Boots No7 Spring 2010 Collection (and new non limited edition product releases!)

On Friday I took a stroll down the St Martins Lane Hotel for an event by Boots No7 showcasing their upcoming Spring 2010 collection! Yep, Spring isn’t exactly just around the corner, but it’s great to get a sneaky look into what shades and looks will be big for 2010! Hosted by high profile make-up artist and spokesperson for Boots No7 Lisa Eldridge, she talked us through all the gorgeous new products…

The theme of the collection is semi-precious stone and minerals, and above are the limited edition Spring collection Mineral Lipsticks which come in two shades – Carnelian and Rubellite. They contain a special ruby, amethyst and sapphire mineral complex to provide a dazzling, jewel like colour with a glossy finish.

Unfortunately we weren’t given samples of the entire limited edition Spring collection as they hadn’t come in yet (for swatches please check new post here), but we did have a play around with them at the event and they were very lovely; the Natural Radiance Eye Palette looked divine with its baked powder technology, meaning all the mineral powder was pressed into these little domes to provide a gorgeous sheer, but buildable colour without mess or hassle.

The Natural Radiance Highlighter was also baked to provide a super fine highlighter that was perfect for fresh, spring skin in 2010. I cannot wait to test these products out and will include pics and reviews as soon as I get them (swatches are on this newer post here). They really were beautiful to look at (you’ll notice similarity in palette style to Chanel’s) and seemed very good quality from touch and texture. The Spring 2010 limited edition collection will be available from Boots on 27th January 2010 for the duration of 8 weeks only.

Also to be released in the coming new year are two new foundations; Lift & Luminate Foundation (a foundation for mature skin) which also comes with its own skin care range of the same name, available from 27th January, and Essentially Natural Mineral Foundation, a foundation for dry skin, available from 30th March. The Natural Mineral Foundation felt lovely when I briefly tested it on my hands, left a wonderful moisture packed sheen to my dry skin and felt lovely and light whilst also very nourishing, however of course I shall review them both for you in detail soon with full testing and trialing so we’ll have to wait and see how they truly turn out (it’s okay though, thankfully you’ve got a while before they all come out)!

Can’t wait to try these out! Reviews of all products to come shortly so do check back!
