I am always on the quest for good mascaras so was quite pleased to receive Boots No 7 Extreme Length. Off I go to try!
Application
It comes in a copper metallic tube, that is curved slightly, and the brush applicator is green.
Applying it is like you would any traditional mascara, no particular fancy tricks here, just run the brush through your lashes! As I have black lashes anyway I only apply on the top lashes, so that’s all that being reviewed in the pics here below.
Verdict
I believe there are lashes for certain occasions, I am not a follower of “one mascara fits all”, no way. So here is what this mascara is good for; it gives great length, provides amazing separation (the brush is fantastic) and if you choose to apply it to the lower lashes, you could do so easily without it clogging or going clumpy. It is definitely one of the best mascaras for general lash lengthening.
Despite its above par lengthening and separating qualities, I would only really wear this mascara if I wanted to gently define my eyes or intended for a more subtle, natural look. However, please understand my “more subtle, natural” is probably not the same as the general wearers’ “more subtle, natural”. Many people would love this product for all occasions if they wanted long, perfectly defined lashes. For those that want super-duper, thick, luscious lashes this isn’t going to do the job. What it will give you, however, is an elegant, less made up eye that will deliver some amount of ‘pow!’ without being obvious.
