No7 Limited Edition Spring 2010 Collection and Swatches!

Wowowowoweeeee, I got sent the rest of the Boots No7 Spring collection today and it is soooo pretty. I briefly touched on the range back in October here, but didn’t have the full collection (only the lippies) at the time to try out. As of today I have all the pieces of this limited edition Spring collection so here’s a little sneaky peek and swatches of the products before I crack on with the full reviews. This range will be on sale from the 27th January 2010 for 8 weeks only. So check them out here first and if you like what you see make sure you bag ‘em while they’re out!

The theme of the collection is semi-precious stones and minerals. All of the products are mineral (thus relatively good for your skin) but pressed and baked so no messy powder spills all over your dresser or make-up bag like other mineral products have a tendency to do. Everything contains their unique semi-precious stone complex of Ruby, Sapphire and Amethyst, making the range very luxurious.

Natural Radiance Eye Palette
“A collection of gemstone inspired shades in a kind to your skin mineral palette that smoothes on for a divine shimmer.”
The shades are gorgeous; pastal and smudge florals are going to be big for this season so these are defintely gonna suit my SS10 wardrobe beautifully. The pigment was buildable, but also sheer. I really like how they weren’t too creamy yet not completely matte either. I also love the baked powder technology they’ve used, pressing all the mineral product into these little domes. It remind me massively of Chanel’s quads.

Natural Radiance Highlighter
“This kind to your skin mineral highlighter glides onto your skin highlighting and sculpting with divine shimmer.”
Again, as this was baked using the baked powder technology and pressed into a dome, the mineral powder is sooo fine. Very gorgeous and sheer, not too glittery at all. Just subtle shimmer. I imagine great for highlighting your cheeks subtly on own or over blush, and the fact the shade is a natural gold makes it perfect as a multi-purpose product.

Natural Radiance Mineral Lipstick
The lipsticks are also mineral, and continuing the theme of gemstones they come in two shades; Carnelian and Rubellite. They are sheer but provide a dazzling, jewel like colour with a glossy finish. I’ve had these lippies for a while and Carnelian is gorgeous with a smokey eye – can’t wait to try it with the rest of the collection!

All of the Spring 2010 collection is available for only 8 weeks, and goes on sale on the 27th January. In the mean time I will work on getting these reviewed so you can get an idea of how they look and wear, etc.

No7 are also introducing a new foundation, Lift & Luminate, that will be a permanent fixture in their cosmetic range (along side a new skin care range of the same name). It’s designed for maturer, dryer skin but I think if your main concern is dry skin, good coverage, lines and wrinkles this could be the ticket regardless of age! Lift & Luminate foundation will be released on the 27th January as well, but as it’s a permanent product it will be available continuously all year long (well, indefinitely actually). And yes, I will be reviewing this ASAP for you, too!

So check back soon for the full reviews and let me know what you’re thinkin’!
