Oh, Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray, where have you been all my life? This product is seriously worth all the hype, I use it in so many ways and always love the outcome; I couldn’t have asked for a better matte effect surf spray if I had designed it myself!
What Bumble & Bumble say.. “Sexy, salty, sun-dried, windswept styles – whenever, wherever.” You can apply this straight onto damp hair or on already dried hair, and either let it dry naturally or use the diffuser on your hair dryer. I’ve tried both and it always delivers. It’s great for adding a matte, raunchy texture to your hair (when used dry), or if you simply apply it straight onto damp hair and let it dry naturally) it dries into the sweetest, softest beach hair I’ve ever seen! I was worried it’d dry horrible and flat, with random unflattering kinks in places but no, it dried beautifully. And I seriously did nothing after applying it, just ruffled my hair a bit and then forgot about it! The night I applied it onto damp hair. Completely dry hair here.. The next day, I just added some more! This is a great product for taking to ‘the boys’ house (not that I have one, boy that is, I have a house), as you can wash your hair and and then spray some of this and leave it and it’ll look completely acceptable, further more, nice even. Perfect for boho styles of Summer! Totally beats lugging straighteners/curling irons round. However, and this is a big however, it is fairly expensive. And I feel like I’ve already gone though half the bottle in only a few weeks – and it’s not like I’ve been wearing it every day or anything. So that would seriously deter me from repurchasing.. but. No actually, I think I would repurchase as it’s such a good product that can be used to achieve a multiple of looks and is reliable in its results, it’s definitely worthwhile to always have a bottle of this around, just for the carefree days or when you simply want to add texture and some matteness to you hair.
