Firstly, before I begin this largely shopping post please let me mention just how honoured I am that the lovely Lu from Just a Girl blog awarded me an “I love you blog” award! Awww, tis my first one and I didn’t really know what to do but Lu informed me of what next and I’m supposed to now award up to 15 of my own favorites. I’ll shall be getting onto this soon!
Ahhh, I don’t know what it is about this time of year but year after year November onwards is re-invention time (if I’m being honest it actually starts around October). Every year I decide, as the weather gets chillier, that I need a new everything! I really enjoy Autumn/Winter clothes as it’s much more fun adding layers and being creative than just skimpying around in flimsy summer wear (not that we really ever have much of a summer here!).
Anyway, last few weeks I’ve been buying lots, and just recently (today) got suckered into the free shipping at Miss Selfridge. I don’t know why a single £5 off makes investing a further £40 on something I had no need or want prior seem like such a bargain, but it strangely does. And I do need this stuff. The black playsuit I bought was reduced from £35 to £25 (petite range) and the black stripey bandeau was only £12 (did I mention Miss Selfridge now carry size 4′s in everything now??)!!! Soooo wearable as a dress on my petite frame. I think the playsuit will look lovely with a a pair of thin black tights (or even coloured!) and some very, very high stilettos/stripper shoes.
