Application

It comes in quirky little roller ball tube, and it’s certainly something that is aesthetically pleasing. For application you simply apply over unpowdered skin for your cheeks, you can still wear foundation, and then blend; repeat till you’ve built desired colour depth. For lips just roll over them, blend it in a little and then wait a few seconds for it to set, and again repeat till desired colour depth is reached.

Verdict

I actually really love this product, you get a gorgeous shade of deep red that works great if you’re going for a dewy, fresh faced look, I found it easy to blend and built up the coverage quickly with only applying a few thin layers. However, and this is a really big ‘however’; I couldn’t wear it on my cheeks for longer than a minute. I’m not sure what ingredient it was but I think it was down to the thing that made your pout into “bee stung lips”, a few seconds into wear my cheeks started developing little hot bumps all over, I’d seriously never seen anything like it. It took a day to fully disappear, despite removng it within a few mintues of application and with copious amounts of special allergy cream after, which clearly isn’t nice so just be warned if you have slightly sensitive skin. Having said this, my friend tried it and had absolutely no problems what so ever, so it really might just be my freakishly sensitive skin.

So despite it not getting along with my skin, had my skin not been so delicate I could actually see myself loving this product as it did look beautiful on for the first few moments. I can still wear it on my lips, and I do feel a little tingling effect, which really does give you lushcious bee stung lips, but unfortunately it is just a lip product for me. It is a very good lip product though, and lasts a good amount of time on!
