Cheryl Cole’s Make-up!

Wowser, I’ve hit the celebrity cosmetic jack pot! Finally found out what make-up the gorgeous Cheryl Cole wears on her perfectly formed face. I was actually talking to my sister just TODAY whilst watching X Factor about how much I wondered what foundation she uses to get such gorgeous, glowy, dewy skin. So really, I have to admit it’s not that surprising that she uses my trusty Mac Face & Body. That foundation is seriously Holy Grail material and I used to use it religiously for about 5 years until I got itchy feet and decided see what else was out there about a year ago. There have been some good finds, namely more recently (Giorgio Armani Hydra Glow, Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick Compact) but really, Mac Face and Body is the fool proof fast track to healthy skin that wears incredibly (unbeatably, even!) and is a great staple product in almost anyones make-up kit.

There were draw backs though, I found it a tad too sheer and thus found trying to build coverage a little tiresome, so I’m not buying that she uses just that on X Factor (this vid was filmed in 2007), no way would she get that coverage from Face & Body alone. I suspect she probably uses a foundation stick product (that contains no powder or else it’ll be cake city) to build up the coverage a little. And all this is assuming she even wears Mac Face & Body on TV, she might use completely different products that work better for the extreme lighting. I have read on a few online places that she also wears La Prairie Skin Caviar Foundation, which I have tried myself a few times and personally think it’s the Face and Body she uses, it was an ok foundation (skin caviar) but really, nothing special and rather pink tone in colour range. The Face and Body was far superior in finish.

She’s a sweet gal though, I like her and I find her beauty (and make-up) captivating. She also makes a good point too in part two of this vid (you can find it in related vids at the end), where she admits to finding make-up shopping far more exciting and pleasureable than simply clothes shopping – don’t ya agree though? I sure as hell do; there is no other buzz than buying gorgeous make-up. And it makes you feel so good about yourself and your confidence (albeit sometimes only momentarily!) hits the roof.

Anyway, enjoy!
