MeMeMe Pussy Cat Cheek and Lip Tint

It’s hard to believe that only in the last few weeks have I really gotten to know the brand MeMeMe, and it appears I’m falling in love with each and every product of theirs I try. Granted, there’s only been a few so far but I’m kinda kicking myself that I’d never bothered to invest in them before as I’ve now discovered they are an amazing alternative for the gal who wants modern, fresh make-up but isn’t willing to pay unnecessary $$$ for it. And MeMeMe Pussy Cat Cheek and Lip Tint is certainly no exception..

I guess it’s pretty obvious what this product is trying to be a copy of, everything from the design of the bottle, the applicator, product consistency to the product shade is an exact copy of Benefits’ Benetint. The only major difference that I’ve noticed is the price tag; this product sells for just under £5. Yep. Just five whole English pounds, that over £17 less than Benetint.
Applicator
Just like Benetint, Pussy Cat comes with a brush much like a nail varnish would, and the consistency of the product is similarly watery. To apply I just do a few haphazard streaks across the apples of my cheeks, and then blend super quick. I found you can layer this product up a few times without it going blotchy, and even my often sensitive skin wasn’t in the slightest bit irritated by it – a big wow and quite surprising considering usually stains don’t work that well for me at all, including Benefits.  Any kind of watery product that involves being rubbed in is a total no go as they usually have a tendency to saturate on small dryer parts of my skin (that I didn’t realise were even there!) and sometimes even sting! Ow!

Verdict
A definite staple to my day time make-up kit! I love how I can just throw this on over a light foundation and it gives my lips and cheeks a gorgeous flush. Plus, despite it being a stain it still left a slight sheen to my cheeks, a freshness; it wasn’t vile and moisture sapping matte. This could be down to the foundation but I’m sure it’s partly due to the stain.

It wore beautifully all day till I took my make-up off, and miraculously came off easily when I did take my make-up off! Even though it did look pretty on my lips as well, if your lips are mega dry or have any flakes I can see this posing a slight problem with blotchiness, however for me it was fine. All in all a superb product that will last an amazing amount of time and only costs a few pounds to repurchase when eventually the little bottle does run out. You can’t say fairer than that. If you find other high end cheek stains too pricey but love the look they give, I suggest you invest in one of these. I genuinely doubt you’ll be disappointed.
Not wearing much make-up in these pics, sorry, literally just the lightest touch of foundation (and then the stain, of course!)(hate this pic below but demonstrates the stain well!)

No flash in this last pic..
